Should I celebrate Mother's Day?

I'm a ftm and my son isn't due until July. I know Mother's Day is coming up soon and I was wondering if I should celebrate it?

Ha, good question.  Not really sure.  I think it is cute if you do but probably not as serious as it will be taken in future years when you have your little one to hold.  I don't think we did anything for my first mother's day (when pregnant) but honor our moms rather than me.  But the next year, it was all about me.  But that is just what you and your partner want to do.  No right or wrong either way . . .   I just didn't think of it for myself!!  Maybe I should have!! : >)))

My boyfriend said that I'm not considered a mother yet and I'm due July as well.. I don't think he understands because he's not the one feeling her inside of him... If she was born right now she could survive .. she has a heart beat so I am a mother ! I think you should ! I'll be celebrating myself with some friendlys icecream (:
