baby clothes shrinking room??..question for already mommas

So im a ftm and im wondering if when u buy baby clothes if they make them with enough room 2 shrink...cuz the new born clothes I hgot look really small and seem.like they dont have room 2 shrink..but iv never had a new born soo..I dunno what IS 2 small or.not...shud u b washing the clothez in cold water and nog drying them..or r they spose 2 shrink 2 fit right...??? Any already moma know??

Ya they r! I washed like half of the new clothes I bought and then was Like..these dont look bbig enough.now :/..at least I didng wash all.of them..ill follow ur advice on thw rest...thnk u

Theyre strerchy enough they wont shrink. I always wash everything in hot water. And I have a 5 month old. I still look at her newborn clothes and doubt she was ever small enough to need premie clothes lol and I was there to dress her lol

Wash everything in cold water, I don't even have hot water hooked to my washer. Hot water sets stains and makes then shrink. After you wash them don't completely dry them, do a full load for like 20 mins then hang them to finish drying. We buy new and used and for anything that is bought new we just hang to dry and never put it in the dryer. I don't ever want to take the chance of the clothes we bought to shrink...clothes r to expensive!
