my eye!

Since last night there has been something in my eye if feels like a freaking rock and I can't get it out. Are eye washes safe to use during pregnancy? Or do you know any other methods to get this damn thing out

I'd be careful as to what you use, and just as the post above me says, I'd go to an optometrist, especially if you've tried looking around in your eye, and tried everything to get it out. Using general Visine or basically a saline solution (like for contacts) could help you to flush out your eye, I'd just check with your doctor before using it, if there could be inactive ingredients they don't want you using during pregnancy (which I doubt but you never know.) I actually have contacts, and use the saline solution for my contacts to soak in at night, haven't been told I can't use them, and maybe just getting a small bottle of even the store brand's saline solution for contacts can be helpful. I'd squirt some in the eye and let it drain out. A scratch on the surface of the eye definitely can make you feel like something is in there though, my father scratched his eye pretty bad, and it feels like a rock/glass is in there. Good luck! Hopefully you find some relief!

I worked in an optometrist office so i dont want to brag or anything lol just kidding. But seriously, i would go see ur optometrist as the thing in ur eye may of scratched ur cornea. If it is scratch youll need to get some drops prescripbe to help with the healing. Eyes are not something to mess around with. Ive seen many patient come in because of infections over a little eyelash stuck under the eyelids. Ive had a women find out she had eye cancer too late and lost her eye because she didnt much of her irritation. Just go in! Seriously! Not joking or trying to scare you at all im just saying it may not look dramatic, but you only have two eyes. Lose one and you lose a lot....lose both and you lose ur whole vision.
