heard my babys heartbeat now ?s

Ill be 11 weeks tomorrow and yesterday finally got to hear the most beautiful sound I've ever heard in my life!! My Babys heartbeat!! However after my midwife let me hear it she informed me that I'm measureing big and told me that usually at how far along I am they usually don't get that strong of a heartbeat so quick and is sending me for a u/s nxt Thursday for size and date. She hardly touched my belly other than with the Doppler so I'm a little confused on why she thinks I'm measureing big.....just from where she did find the heartbeat? And also I had a little bit of a weird start to my period the month before I found out I was expecting. (Alot of blood tinged mucus for several he's before actually starting like normal) could I really be a month further along??

I would imagine it's very possible.  I bled with all of my children and ended up being 3-4 weeks further along.  I assumed more recently I was 4-5 months (if even pregnant) and from my blood test I was determined 8-10 weeks.  Just try not to get too excited! The u/s will really help!

I was 10w4d when I first heard the baby's heartbeat at the dr's office (8weeks when I heard it at home with my doppler) and it was very loud, she probably had the volume up pretty loud where it seemed as if it was loud, I wouldn't worry about it to much

I first heard my daughters heartbeat at 8 weeks...the doctor picked up on it as soon as she put the doppler to my stomach and it was very strong and loud....so I wouldn't worry too much if I were you
