baby weight!!! help!!!

My son was born Nov 17th. He is now 9 weeks old. His birth weight was 7 lbs 12 oz. But I was induced so I think his weight was greatly effected by that. He dropped down to 7 lbs 1 oz by the time we left the hospital... He went to the doctor at 4 days old and he weighed 6lbs 13 oz. So his weight dropped quite a bit. He went back to the doctor when he was two weeks he was 8lbs 0.5 oz. So we were back on the right track. At his 1 month appt he was 8lbs 11oz. At his two month he was 9lbs 8oz. He is meeting all the milestones and is very alert. But according to the chart he is underweight.I am breastfeeding. His pediatrician wants me to supplement with formula but I really don't want to. Have any of you had skinny babies? What did you do to get their weight up? If you did supplement with formula did it work? I need help. I am so scared I'm not giving him enough.

Try to feed more often or make feeding times as long as yu can.  But I Wouldn't Supplement ; Especially Since Yu DONT Want Too His Weight Seems NORMAL Honestly.  2 months gaining about 3 pounds.  If yu are too worried about it I'd see another dr before I make a choice
