Nope not exactly. Every pregnancy is different and we can carry differently as well. By belly is huge and so is my baby haha but next time could be different. It's the measurements they take of the femur, head, and belly that matter more than your belly size :)
and just because im not showing much doesnt mean he wont be gaining wieght right?
Yep they can tell you how much they are estimated to weigh and if they are measuring with their gestational age. So if he's measuring big or small. :) at my 21 week scan my little guy weighed 1lb something.
At 21.4 wks mine weighed a lil over 1.2 lbs and his femur measured 2wks ahead. Everything was fsine
thats awesome im glad for u:) so they can tell me how much my baby weighs at the 20 week scan dont they only weigh like a pound by then or so?
You usually only have to have growth scans if there is a reason the baby may not grow properly or they are behind or ahead. I'm my situation I have them every 3 weeks because the heart medication I'm on could cause my little man not to grow properly, but has had no effect on him whatsoever.
The anatomy scan is usually at 20 weeks
You find out what your having and they measure baby to make sure everything is growing right check brain kidneys stomach heart heart beat the bones in arms and legs thongs like that
