what did it turn out to be? as ive had the exact same and am worried
Actually, an even better idea is to take the tissue to your doctor. You should put it in a container and put it in the fridge unless you've already flushed it. They could analyze it to see if it was a cyst/fibroid/embryo.
I'm so very sorry and I hope that you are able to find some help in determining what is going on.
Another option that I can think of is that it could be the remnants of a fibroid or even cyst . In my opinion this is a very likely possibility but, I of course, can not even begin to diagnose you.
In a situation like this, it really would be best to see your doctor to find out what happened especially since you are experiencing bad cramping - depending on the diagnosis, if you dont seek treatment you might be susceptible to certain complications like infection as mentioned above. If you have kept the "discharged item" you can take that to the doctor - if not, show your doctor this photo. That will be a very useful aide.
You should really see a doctor since it does sound like you are having a miscarriage or already did. They will need to make sure that everything cleared out of your uterus so you don't get any infections.
Sorry....
yeah its pretty bad. i have always had bad craps but never like this...it feels like there is ice stabbing my in the stomach...its not the dull pain of normal craps. how long do the hormones stay in your body?
By the way, how late was your period?
I've had 2 miscarriages and I had bright red bleeding with cramps that felt like I was going to die. It hurt to sit, stand, walk, move, lay down... It was really awful.
Do you think your situation compares?
It could be a miscarriage. Did you take a pregnancy test? I'd take one really quick and see if it comes up positive. Because if you were you might still have enough of the hormones in your body to get a positive pregnancy test. If it is negative, I wouldn't rule it out.
That looks like it could be the sac. You wouldn't actually see a baby this early, they'd be inside that sac and probably about the size of a grain of sand or rice, so very small.
