question about contractions??
Monday morning at about 4:45 i started cramping and all morning still cramped. I would rate the pain between a 4 or 5. I went to the hospital and they hooked me up on the monitor. They told me i was having mild contractions and my cervix was closed still so not to worry. Since then my lower back has been hurting pretty bad. I was wondering could this be a sign that the baby would be coming sooner than we thought or just a false alarm?? Im 32 weeks and 5 days. This is my first pregnancy so i dont know. Thanks!
Its hard to say. It could be your body preparing for labour or it could b the early stages. Next time u get the cramping time it. If it gets consistent then i would call ur doc. I have an irritable uterus so it contracts throughout my whole pregnancy and my doc always told me to monior when im cramping and even my bh contractions. I call for everything. Its better to be safe then sorry. If labour starts and they catch it early enough they can stop it.
