Leg cramps and insomnia

Hey ladies has anyone else had leg cramps at night and a bit of insomnia?  I always find at night now it takes me ages to get off to sleep, I'm 32.5 weeks pregnant :) :) thanks ladies

Yesss, absolutely. I get really acute cramps in my hips when lying on them, but the recommended position is to lie on the left side:/ lots of things could help the insomnia. Warm milk releases a chemical, so when you drink it you'll become more.relaxed & tired, try it with honey in it. Eating cheese makes you tired, take a warm bath before bed, don't drink any water close to bedtime, my doctor suggested to me to take a benadryl, but not to make it a habit, but personally those don't effect me. When you're laying down, focus on your breathing & nothing else. Just relax & breathe in & out & focus on the rhythm. Another technique, flex your toes as hard as you can, then relax them. Then flex your ankle muscles & relax them. then calves, knees, thighs, etc. Just picture all the energy in each muscle being used up while you're flexing, then released when you relax. Yes, if you have Charlie horses at night, lay straight and flex your toes towards you and it makes them go away
