I used implanon and I hated it.. The hormones changed me so much and I didn't realize all the things that were going wrong with me was a result of the implant. It killed my sex so bad. I had it removed it was the best thing I could of done... I used nuva ring and I loved it

My friend had the arm implanted birthcontrol and she got so depressed and kinda crazy. Also she bleed for 3 months streight and 2 or 3 months after they took it out too.
What's the difference between nexplanon and implanon?
I know most arent using the implanon now and instead I think the nexplanon and I have heard better reviews for the nexplanon than the implanon.
My sister has it and she has been really uncomfortable with it. She has bled for two months with only 9 days that she hasn't bled.
I took mine out after a year and a half because i never had a period the whole time(every womans dream, i know lol) but i gained 15 pounds and i started lactating! My friend had it at the same time as me and she would have forty some day periods 10 days without one then another forty some day period!
Oh also the implant I was on was called implanon.
Personally I recommend nuva ring, its the only birth control that never gave me any side effects. I used it for years and never got pregnant, but two months after stopping it...I was knocked up! You have to be comfortable touching yourself down there, you insert yourself once every few weeks. Some doctors will do it for you but mine never did. Im really sensitive to hormones and go crazy with them and nuva ring was the only birth control I was able to use!
Ouch...and thats the one i was thinking about...you know the name of it? I wanna research more on it? And what maybe do you recommend, after your bad experience?
It made me bleed ALL the time :/ ***** for bleeding but ita diff for everyone but works very very well.. never used protection on it & he never pulled out but NEVER got pregnant at all & i had it for 8 mths!!! Its a great working b/c :) doesnt hurt to get put in either!!!
My coworker had it and she went crazy hormonal!!
She noticed too so she got off it lol
I had it a few years ago (wayyy before pregnancy) and I had a horrible experience and would not recommend it to anyone! It started okay, then I got my period, for four months straight. I went crazy hormonal, severely depressed. And my period didn't stop for three more months after I took it out and they had to put me on progesterone to get it to stop. It was horrible! And the process of getting it removed sucked! They numb your arm and very literally have to rip it out, it gets stuck in the tissue. It was all around a bad experience.
