has anyone ever had a blot clot while pregnant? if so what did they do for you

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have to go in every other day for them to scan my leg to make sure my vericose vein infection doesn't turn into a blood clot. its so stressful. I was just curious what they could Do. eberytime I ask my doctor he says let's not worry about it until it happens. I'm on antibiotics for my vein infection. its killing me and I'm so stressed out about getting the blood clot

My mom ended up with a blood clot on my brother a feeding tube, they didn't know she had a condition for it, He ended up passing at 8 months in the womb, they quickly put her on cumadin, a year later she was pregnant with me :) I too have the same blood clotting disorder she has, its genetic, but for me I am taking lovenox injections in my stomach every night to ensure my little one doesn't get a clot. Its hard, and very nerve racking, but well well worth all of it.

I suggest you to talk to your doctor about it. Better to be safe than sorry.

I didn't have one but they were concerned I did I was bout 11 weeks n they thought it was in my lungs sorry but in order to save u they would give u medicine and it would make u miss carry if your as early as I was now in a longer term preganancy idk the circumstances
