The best way to calculate the weeks that you are is by taking your last u/s and reading the bottom of it. example "6w4d - +2" so if you needed to know what this meant is says 6 weeks and 4days give or take 2 days. I usually just stick to the weeks and days and count from the date of that sonogram to the date it was taken and this should tell you how far along you are. like for me I'm 28 weeks and 7days which means I completed it and tomorrow I'll start my 29th week and sunday will be 29wks and 1 day. does this make sense?

My personal opinion would just be the round ligaments stretching, I had that terribly with my 1st to the point that I could not stand up straight.  But it does not hurt to put a call in to the doc and ask.
