blood transfusion

So I'm 28 weeks today and I found out that a blood transfusion is a MUST since my red blood cell count is so low, any mothers ever had a blood transfusion while pregnant? It's scheduled for tonight and I'm real nervous.

Thanks you. I'm a ftm as well and it a just so nerve racking. The transfusion got pushed back due to the hospital getting too busy but they are going to try again tonight if it doesn't get busy again.
