Streatchy CM?? During AF! TMI....

Since the 16th which was a tuesday ive been having brown like spotting intill this morning.  TMI>>TMI.....Yesterday late afternoon i had a tampon in when i pulled it out it was still almost like new had very little brown but i noticed it looked shiny so i touched and it was stretchy. i know its gross but im curious is all. and early this morning i wiped it was a light reddish almost pink only when i wiped so again put in a tampon and then had to pee so nautally i pulled it out and it was clean for the most part with brown and pinkish like blood. then again same thing this time tho it had more of that stretchy stuff. does anyone know what it is? and i still dont have any flow to my af.. any ideas your help is greatly appreciated ladies

amy0013- its strange ive noticed it these past few months. but if you have it it seems to be normal af came full flow this time. thank you for the responses ladies :) it helps alot :)

Being a teacher I will often times wear a tampon on the day that I'm due just so I don't stress about the "did I start?" question all day.  I notice the same type of CM right before my AF too up until it comes full flow on my tampon.  I don't know if it's "normal" but I have it too!  :)

I just had the same thing happen, ended up finding your post while trying to figure out what is going on. I always have a heavy flow until this  month, it was like 3 days and then just the weird spotting since then (9days) it's driving me nuts! I called my ob and they said an abnormal period is actualy normal and there doesn't seem to be any reason why they happen, but every woman will have at least one in her life. So anyhow idk sounds like a canned response to me. If you figure it out let me know!

i just went to the bathroom and the tampon was still slightly clean like new, with more of the sticky stuff ???
