So my husband is driving me INSANE with the names he wants to name our son! But now im hurting his feelings i think because ive shot them all down. I like the name Mason. But his name is richard so he named his first son after him and now wants to stick with R names. But he likes names like Royce and Ryder. I personaly thought those were girl names. (I watch Basketball wives and a grls name is Royce and Jersey Shore and a friends name is ryder and shes a grl) any boy names that begin with R? Cant do Riley our friends kids name is Riley. Ahhh we cant seem to agree!!

Robert, Ronny, Roddrick, Regan(means little king, I was gonna use this but went with Carter) , Reed, Reily, Ripley haha all I could think of try google

I have a book of names and the best i could pick are: Randy or Randie( a short name for Randall), Riley, Robbie, Royce( Son of the king), Ryan( little king).. And guess what Royce & Ryder are in the boys name not in the girls in my book. Hope you & ur hubby decide on one.

Did your hubby have his son with another woman cos you could say you dont feel comfortable carrying on a tradition that started with another woman.

I have to say though i dont like the name Mason so i'd side with your husband on this however you have to both agree on the name.

If his other son lives with you it will be so confusing having 3 Mr R's in the house! Or even 2 lol! Good luck.

Its my son too :-) . I just meant he always knew he wanted his 1st boy to be named after him. I like the name Rylan its different or Rowan. They both grow on me
