boy or girl announcement ideas

My husband and I find out in a few days what we are having and he may not be there with me due to work, any cute ideas on how to tell him or the family? We live out of state so it'll be over Facebook most likely for the family saddly.

I had the ultrasound tech put a little pink or blue sock in a box and we opened it all together. You could each blow up a blue and pink balloon and pop whichever it isn't. I think you should have your doctor put the gender in an envelope or something and open it with your husband, then do a fun announcement picture on Facebook. Pinterest has a toooon of cute ideas!

Buy some little pink or blue booties and have someone (or take a picture in the mirror) and hold the booties or onesie on your belly and him holding you from the back. Or a pink or blue balloon and blow it up but don't tie it yet and write it's a girl or boy or a cute message and take a selfie lol looking at your husband. I did the ballon one
