I went to a specialist for my NT scan at 12 weeks n they told me they're 80% sure I'm having a girl. :o) I asked my regular OB how accurate it could be as early as that and he told me the equipment they use at the specialist is usually spot on...I go for my level 2 US in a few weeks.. so we'll see how spot on they are!!!
I got my gender result at 17 weeks 4 days, and I've sometimes heard of people getting them at 16 weeks or so, but rarely earlier than that, and definitely not at 11 weeks. And all the signs and old wives tales pointed to a boy for me, but nope...little girl, and I've even had a repeat scan to confirm it.
I know it's hard waiting but there really is no other way to know until later in the pregnancy when they scan you for it.
Unfortunately there's not. An ultrasound around 20 weeks will only tell you that, but it's not 100%. There are the old wives tales that are meant to tell you what you're having going on shape of bump and certain cravings or things you're feeling during your pregnancy but these are just myths and not true - just for fun.
Unfortunately nothing concrete either way. As everyone and every pregnancy is different there's no definite way of pin pointing certain foods for a certain sex. I was convinced this pregnancy I was having a boy, as it started like my 2 pregnancies with my boys, but have also had symptoms like when I had my daughter too, so really am not sure now. You'll have to wait for that ultrasound!
