First ultrasound tomorrow! Ftm

What should I expect when I go into get my ultrasound tomorrow? I'm so scared what if I go in there and the baby isn't alive or okay. I've heard horror stories about women going in to get an ultrasound and finding out there baby died weeks before.

Did any of you cry? I think I'll probably cry.

I think the main reason I'm worried is because I've never heard the heart beat or seen the baby yet so its like anything could be going on. We tried to listen to the heart beat at 12 weeks but my doc said that it was just the blood rushing to the placenta ( it just sounded like wooshing) I guess its not real to me yet.

I had my first sonogram at 7 weeks and was scared out of my wits. You will come to love ultrasounds....just stay calm and keep positive thoughts. Definitely easier said than done....I know.

I was scared too. Just try to be calm I'm sure everything is ok. My first ultrasound the lady had trouble finding her and when she did I just starred at the screen. It really didn't hit me til I see that little heart beating

You need to relax.  I was like you for my first scan i didnt even slept that day .  Bt if you didnt bleed; you shouldnt be worried about it. Take it easy.  Gud luck:-)
