braxtons that dont go away?

Ive been having braxton hicks for a few weeks but today theyve been pretty constant. Theres no pain, just pressure.  Ive been drinking water and laying down but they arent going away. Does this mean the real thing is around the corner? Or is there anything else i can try to make them go away? Im almost 38 weeks so it could be anytime, but i just hate not knowing...

Shes moving alot but thats not what this is. Its tightening and just feels like an extremely mild period cramp. I know its a contraction, just wondering if its a braxton hick, or a sign that labor is coming up soon

AuziNikol: I'm 18 weeks and feeling the same thing. The doctor said that's the baby pushing/kicking. But I would call your doctor just to be sure.

I hope that's not what that means! I've been having the exact same thing except I'm only 27 weeks
