strep And mono Are Going Around My Town Like Crazy And Im Pretty Sure I Have One Of Them . I Have Really Bad Chills When It Was 95 Outside , My Throat Is Beyone Sore And Swollen . Im Soo Tired And Im 9+6 Weeks Pregnant So Ive Been Throwing Up Too ): helpp
If its strep you will have white puss build up on the back of your throat or mouth. Its the white bloid cells dying trying to fight the infection. Both are highly contagious and can be spread through shated utensils, food,drinks, and kissing. I have heard of mono as being called the kissing disease.

Chances are u prob have both they usuallu go hand in hand. Drink lots of fluid if u can or even ice chips and get to ur doc tomorrow. Hope u feel better soon.
Are you able to hold fluids down? Try drinking some chicken or beef broth so you can get some nutrients and take a couple tylenol to help with the sore throat. Make sure you keep drinking water even if you throw it up because you don't want to add dehydration into the mix. If you still feel crappy in the morning go get checked but if you start feeling even.worse it might be a good idea to go to an urgent care clinic or the er. Hope you feel better soon!
If I were you I'd just take some tylenol for the fever and try to sleep it off for the night...or at least til the morning when you can go in lol

I would go to the doctors ASAP! Because if its mono, you do NOT want to mess with that while your pregnant lol. Idk how to tell the difference but all I know is that when I had mono, I felt like I was dying! I had a fever for 2 weeks straight and that's when I knew something was wrong. And my lymph nodes were so swollen that you could see them popping out of my neck! It's a horrible sickness
