I sent my mom a picture of the test and told her that i was pregnant and that i didnt want her to be upset pr disappointed. I live on my own with my fiance. Better to let her hear it from you than someone else. :)

I was 20 when I was pregnant for the first time, and with twins . I was already out of the house had been since the day after graduation. I was military and honestly did not care what my patents thought. I just called and told them.

You won't get their initial reaction because you are away. So the have time to accept it by the time you do.

Yeah just tell which ever parent you feel most comfortable with telling first. I'm 20 and I been with my baby's father for 4 years. I guess it was different for me to tell them because I was 6 hours away at school. Its not going to be that bad.

I just came out and told them. My boyfriend and I are both adults and we're on our own. Not much they could say. They've been supportive , since the initial shock wore off.
