positive test, than negatives? What is going on??

So on September 22nd I took a pregnancy test (my period wasn't due yet I was just feeling pregnant, mostly tired.. Also I've already had a normal pregnancy) so the test was positive but then the next day I took another one and it was negative? Then I took like 4 more in the next week and they were all negative so I went to the doctors for blood work and that came back negative. Then I got my period but it wasn't normal. It was waaaaaay lighter than usual and kept like stopping and coming back which is very very strange for me. After my period I went back to the doctors for more blood work which was also negative, but all this time I am still EXTREMELY tired like cannot function tired. So I have had 2 not normal periods since the positive pregnancy test and am just wondering if it is still possible that I am pregnant?

Well I know I can get pregnant I have a 16 month old baby girl. I just want to make sure that I am or am not so I don't do anything to harm the baby inside of me (if I was). Thanks for the help guys!

It could have been a chemical pregnancy.  That happened to me when we were TTC.  I took a positive test and then 5 days later, I took another one and it was negative and the next day I started bleeding and had my period.  Basically the sperm and egg met up but didn't implant so there was a hormone spike enough to test positive that one time.  I also went in for blood work that same day that my period started and it was negative as well.  But, 4 months later we did conceive and now have a healthy 10 month old and I am now 9 weeks pregnant.  So, if that is what it was, it's nothing to be worried about as far as being able to get pregnant goes.  Best of luck to you.

with my first pregnancy i had 1 positive urine test about 2-3 weeks in (as i was trying) with countless negatives and even a negative blood test at about 6 and a half weeks. i also had weird 'periods' which made me believe i was not pregnant. i got my second positive (at the doctors) at 8weeks and 6 days. some people are hard to detect, i dont understand why. this may not be the case for everyone but it will happen when it is ment to. x

Im afraid it sound like your not pregnant,this is the problem when we test earlier than when our period is due.somtimes pregnancy is achieved but for many reasons the pregnancy does not continue,every month we have a 25% chance of achieveing pregnancy.ive had many of tests that were positive followed by negatives.considering your blood work has come back negative i would say pregnancy isnt likely,if you had a positive test then the blood test would have picked this up,as a blood test is more sensitive than a HPT, as for your period its not uncommon to have a change in our cycle.dont give up it will happen.
