Ovualtion? Poss Mis Calculation.Charting Wrong with BBT

Ok ladies I know some of you have been very help and I have had some really good advice. I am now 31 CD I thought my O was on the Jan 29 based off temp. But I am not sure! I have had some spotting lately, tested this morning BFN, cervix is really high. temp went up a little today, I should be getting AF because of BFN. Is it possible that  I have mis-calculated  "O". What should I be looking at for "O" temp, cervix and or cm? all 3 together or just a few of them. Does the temp really matter and will it ever natch to the cm? Mine never does. I am thinking I should try to stick to the cervix and cm. or may be i should just start doing the opk. If so what is a good kind with out getting pricey.

It look like you have a 30-31 day cycle so i think hun if you were to start bedding those days, you will be covered.when you get close to cd16 look out for a drop in temp.it generally drops lower than your previous temps.it can concieve you and drop sooner, but i always say whenever i see the drop then bed, just in case it is that.Bc can do that to your cycles.I wish you lots of luck.

Thank you so much for your advice. Yeah I know I can never count on those. I thought its was just wierd. So based off of temps when is I should really look at  to know that I am ovulating. I thought it was when the first drop in temp. There is nothing regular about my cycle. They were even off when I was on birth control 2 years ago (only off by a few days) But i will take your advice on starting BD at day 16-22. that sounds about right

Hun your charting looks off.when you look at your average predictions for ovulation, that you think, compared to sftware its way off, online predictors, are ok,but not really worth much, since they dont know your body, and cant tell you when you O.
when charting they say if your temp stays above coverline for 18 days, could possiblilty of pregnacy, since our luteal phase arent that long, when it starts to decline it can mean impending af.if you have a drop early after O it can be a second estrogen surge, also very common.

well i have been charting since november but that month was not from the start, but dec and jan i bbt everyday even during af. I used this site www.femilia.com and you can put in your af and it can predict your next af and O and i forgot i had til yesterday and it said i was going to start today. I have noticed that I can count on when my temp goes down that af will appear no matter how long my cycles are. may be i should watch for that too. If BBT stays up, its a good thing and if it drops than i should b prepared for af

Can see you reset your chart.looks clearer now, based on software says you o around cd19 i would say, start bedding around cd16 right through to cd22 as much as poss.hopefully you be covered, but start charting now.next couple months should become clear.

You sound just like me,i was the same everytime i thought um day late or thing im pregnant went bought test, she would show..
Nothing wrong with questions hun,ask away.they do say start to temp when you have finished your period.I do it all cycle everyday without fail.your days seem to overlap on your chart.have a look at fertility friend .com site, you can join for free, then you can view some charts, and get good advice there.
but yes i started charting but rather than start mid cycle, this be why your chart days are overlapped i think,so start beginning of cycle.when af arrived, like today,so put down on your chart period started.it should reset your chart.then from tomorrow take temp.dont worry to much what they are.your looking for your average over all.when you have been charting couple months,,you will see a pattern f your cycle,it when you have this you will see a clear temp shift which is likely to be same day each month,so you will know hope that makes sense.pm me if you want any more help..

Thank you so much! I really jumped this post this morning because soon after this mornings post I start AF when I was in class. But that makes sense about the temps and charting. I do take my temp the same time every day, thats whats makes me confused of my own chart thats why I have so many questions. So at point do I know when I take my temp to know that I am ovulating as the month goes by? I want to know when I am not after, it would be pointless to know after.

Looking at your chart i would say you ovulated feb 7th,after this your temps have stayed higher than most of your previous temps.temping is very inportant when charting ovulation, since this is the only thing that will confirm ovulation, tests are good, but they only tell us that we are about to ovulate, many factors can stop this process.your chart seems abit weird, when you chart start a fresh chart day of full flow.
look at feb 7th and note the temps all go up and stay up.this would put you at 13dpo and with the drop possible your period will be here any day.cervix changes through out the day,not a reliable indicater.unless of course you check same time every day.
cm and temp never seem to match,as we can get fertile looking cm even after or before we even approach ovulation,I wait the next couple of days and see if aunt flow comes.mid cycle spotting is common.ive found by charting to note full flow cycles this makes chart look accurate.good luck..
