I have a 15 month old who has hand-foot-mouth disease and im 6 weeks pregnant and i was just wondering if it will effect me and unborn baby in anyway.

They're usually not too itchy,if at all to a small child. Just painful. In adolescents and adults it can be very itchy, but if they seem to itch, they prlly do

Thank u linny5511 i have been keeping my other kids away from her as much as possible. Do u know if the sores itch. Cuz they seem to on my baby

No, my daughter got it when i was about 4.5 months. They usually don't see it in children over 6 so you are most likely not to get it. But it is contagious to other children. Just make sure you wash everything and i mean everything very thoroughly. And after you change every diaper. I guess even when all the symptoms are gone it can still last awhile in the stool.
