burn ointment? urgent. in pain

I burned myself cooking supper, and i was curious if its okay to use burn ointment. The burn is on my hand

Yes ask a doctor first. Try natural methods first like Aloe vera, and ice on it. Take care

Depending on how bad it is I would see a Dr. I had to have a follow up appointment to make sure it healed okay without any serious scaring!

I would not without calling your Dr. When I was around 25 weeks I turned on the stove and turned around and touched the burner (forgetting I had turned it on) and got third degree burns on my hand. Went to hospital and they just put antibiotic cream on it & wrapped it up really good and made me ice it (not the direct burn though) just getting the air off of my burn helped A TON!!! maybe try that depending on how bad it is!

You're probably fine, maybe check with your doctor to be 100% sure. But I do believe is category B and finding no fetal harm
