butalbital during pregnancy

at my 16 week my doctor gave me combo pills for headaches and migraines containing butalbital because i felt like i was taking to many tylenol to help with the headaches and migraines about 15-25 in a 24 hour period when i have a bad one and about 6-8 almost daily for smaller ones i know thats bad for me but i don't think it really affects the baby but the things i've read about this drug is not good so i was wondering has anyone taken this while pregnant and know its safe ? or if taking to many tylenol sometimes better than taking this drug while pregnant ?

Before I was pregnant, I was on very strong medications for migraines.  I had to, of course, go off of those once I became pregnant.  I'm 30 weeks along now and have been having headaches and migraines for my entire pregnancy.  My doctor put me on Fioricet for awhile (basically the same thing as you are taking).  All it is is tylenol with caffeine.  Totally safe for the baby.  BUT it didn't help my headaches at all.  So I stopped taking them.  I've learned to just "endure" them.  I know it's SO hard. Good luck!
