Thank you all for your comments.I guess my daughter will have to live with the pain until the baby arrives.
OMG mine started when i was like 10 weeks along. it is the most painful thing ever. i found that when i exercise, it gets worse but at least i fall asleep better that night. i have heard heat works, like using a small heat pack, but it did not work for me. i just try to find the most relaxing spot and stay that way til the pain ends.
Sorry to hear about your daughter's discomfort.. during my second child i got the same thing about 6 months pregnant.. I never did find anything to relieve the pain, it felt better lying on my sides but walking was horrible... i finally talked with the Dr. and got put on Vicodin 1 tab twice daily and that helped.. but i wouldn't recommend it they are very addictive and she has many months of pregnancy left.. she's just going to have to live with it for the time being,, the good news is the second she delivers the pain is gone.. no trace of it left...
Sciatic pain is just the most painful thing. I had it for five years and recently I had a hysterectomy and the pain went away, I had a prolapsed uterus that must have been causing all that pain. Bless her heart....heat helped me, but sometimes the baby doesn't like that heat so you would need to ask doctor. Good luck/
