Nightmares

I'm exhausted. It seems like every time I sleep I have at least one nightmare. Sometimes they are realistic and disturbing, other times I know they are dreams but I just can't seem to wake myself up. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm obviously not getting restful sleep and at this point I'm almost afraid to sleep. I'm 21 weeks and I've heard pregnancy can make you dream more and vividly but is there anything I can do to stop having these horrible nightmares?

I haven't had any dreams about my pregnancy and all my nightmares don't really have to do with my life, but they still freak me out. Lsat night I had a dream about watching the news and then showing footage of people killing each other. It was horrifying. When I woke up I had to ask my fiance if it was real because I honestly didn't know.

Omg im 19w and probably have had nightmares through out my whole pregnancy & if there not "nightmares" there really bad\sad dreams that I cant get out of my head all day;( just the other day I had a dream I had a big belly (my unborn son) and some girl was beating me with her fist and I was laying on the ground covering my stomach and my boyfriends and all his friends were just right there laughing although I believe he wouldn't do that especially if I was Prego but I couldn't get that one out of my head for a couple days, every other night I have some sort of off dream its horrible :( I'm not sure there's much we could do about it neither.

I only read before bed but I guess I could try to stop that. And I know what you mean about going to the bathroom, another reason I struggle with sleep.

Just try to relax before bed, I had to quit watching TV before bed because regardless of the movie, it sparked some kind of nightmare...it was awful but that seemed to help.
