Belly Rings?

I'm 23 weeks 4 days. I have my belly button pierced and its been pierced for 3 years now but I simply touched it and it have me horrible pain right in my belly button. Is it safe to keep a naval ring in during pregnancy?

I have a pregnancy one in but it still hurts. Its worse when I try to move it.

I would say it's probably best to remove it. I took mine out because the skin around it was stretching. They do make pregnancy jewelry that is bigger, but I just decided to take mine out all together.
