cant get pregnant after being on depo.. help..

Ive been trying to have a baby for almost a year ..still no luck ..I think depo plays a big role in this I was on depo for almost 3 year and ive been off of it for a lil over a year ..I have regular periods and everything just still no baby .. is this regular or am I just over acting.. how long does it take to get pregnant after being on depo

I think it depends on how long your on the depo and it could cause you to be sterile after so long b it's an extremely strong birth control especially when u go and get your shots like your suppose to

I was on depo Aug 13-last shot jun13 and i got prego in Dec took a while for my periods to get regular but depo really didnt work for me i spotted throughout the time i was on it. BC is different for everyone...

They say for every year your on it it takes 6months I was on it for 3 years and It took me a year and a half to get pregnant im now 14 weeks

I was on depo for around 8-9 months and got pregnant on it. I'm now 8+1 weeks pregnant but having slight bleeding complications even after stopping it...

The depo shot is out of u with in a month of stopping it. My doctor told me that bc I switched feom depo to the pill but got pregnant in the middle of switching

I was on depo for five years, was off it for two and 1/2 years got pregnant and lost it. Now a few years later I am currently pregnant and so far having a healthy baby! I would just let your body take its time, good things come with time!

I was on depo from April 2012 for the 3 months it covers you and I never went back for another one and didn't use contraception at all i fell preg in July 2013 so took a long time to clear out my system and me to get preg :)

Everyones body is different, if your really concered I'd see a dr. I was on the depo for almost two years & got pregnant while one it, & it caused me to have lots of complications during the beggining of my pregnancy.

I was on depo for a year.(no period once started) Got off. Was off for a year. ( didnt have a period that whole year) Went to my doctor told her i wanted to try for another baby. She told me to get on birth control to help my periods, was on that for 6 months. I stopped taking it once my periods got on track. I then concieved 3 months later,

I was on.depo  for 9 years I got off January 2013 didn't get a period untill. April n it didn't get regular untill  June but by July 2013 I was pregnant I was planning to get pregnant 2 years after getting off I thought it was gone take a while but ig not trying n.not thinking about does help u to get pregnant good luck!

I had the mirena iud for two years then i switched to the depo shot for another two years. I stopped the shot in august of 2013 and got pregnant in january 2014.

I was on thr depo for 1.5 years and it took me from being off it in June of 2012 until this month to get pregnant. I will never get the depo shot again! Good luck sending baby dust your way!

I have heard with depo it takes as long as you have been on it to get it out of your system. My biological mothers new wife was a marine and made to use the depo shot and it actually sterilized her. She cant have children now (which I guess works being a lesbian and the more masculine one), but she said it would have been nice to know all the research on depo before the doctors in the military injected her.
