Usually after a C/S a woman's uterus thins out some during the next pregnancy. it's why they won't let a woman go into labor after several Csections.
So the more C/S you have the higher risk of rupture as I was told.
NicMom is right, it all depends on how your body recovers. mine recovered fully after 3 1/2 weeks.
I think that lady with 18 kids has csections so you can have a few. It all depends on how well your body recovered after your last csections. Good luck.
hi ladies, my doctor says i can have a VBAC if i heal very well and stay for at least one year, that's quite a long time for us but i guess i will. like JoyRenee says, i hope my surgeon did good cos it's too late to find out now. One whole year!! God help us, i really hope i have a multiple,(my mum is a twin, triplet or some thing. I'm scared of these fertility drugs, though, you never know if you'll end up with 8 fetuses!!)Then i wouldn't mind another C.S since it'll be my last birth experience ever. Thank you everyone for your support, I'm glad there's Medhelp.
A friend of mine was told no more than 3 c-sections for her. I think each case is unique and depends on the woman's uterus, how they heal, and the skill of the doctor who performed previous c-sections.
I am so sorry about your loss. How far along are you now? I hope everything will go smoothly this time around. I would just discuss it with your doc and see what they say. But if you could have VBAC that would be great! =) Good luck sweetie!
are u serious? woow!! that's pretty large, i had a primary C.S and lost my girl, so i'm thinking how many more chances do i have to go? with this i think, i'm good, i intend to have a VBAC anyway, i hope i will. good luck to me. thanks.
I don't think that's true. I knew someone who had 12 children and her last 7 were c-sections. I think I have also heard of someone having 9. As long as your doc doesn't think there is too much risk, I don't see why it should be a problem. =)
