cervix is opening :/
21 weeks and went to the hospital last night for continuous cramping and back pain. Found out my outer cervix is opening up but the inner cervix is still closed, that all of my cervix is softening up. I was sent home and put on bed rest and have an ultrasound for friday to see my cervix and check the baby's position. Still having the cramping, really nervous cause I dont want my baby girl to be born early.
Thank you that's why I know this baby is a blessing and yes stay positive the time I thought I was just cramping I was actually dilating so praying the best for you keep us posted good luck...
Love_n_hate I wish we could trade! Hope you deliver your baby girl soon. Im sorry to hear that Vero2127 and I hope they can stop the labor. Im trying to stay positive and not stress. Might go back tonight to the hospital for the cramping because its getting stronger.
I was pregnant two years ago at 20 weeks they found my cervix was opening they tried to place a cerclage but couldn't they said my sac kept bulging out so they put me on bed rest I was in the hospital for a week practically on my head they wanted to see if my sac would go back in to try the procedure again so the second time they tried they still couldn't do it they ended up puncturing my sac my baby ended up getting an infection so I ended up losing her at 20 weeks exactly if I knew then what I know now I should of never let them try the second time I should of just stayed on strict Bedrest from them until my 40 weeks even if that meant staying in the hospital the whole time but now in 7 weeks 4 days and I know what I'm gonna have to do way before I'm 20 weeks cause my Dr told me a cerclage has to be inserted between 12- 14 weeks for it to work good luck I pray it goes better for you then what happen to me..
Im 24 weeks 1 day an in preterm labor my water hasnt broke yet an im not dilated but my cervix are super soft they went ahead an gave me 2 shots for his lungs to go ahead an develop. Im on bed rest as well but having contractions too. Jis trynna keep him in as long as i can.
They might do a cerclage, a stitch in the cervix, to keep it from opening if they need to. Praying for you :)
Try not to panic n follow drs instruction. If your concerned about the contractions go back to the hospital.
Just try not to stress to much. It's not good for you or baby. I'd totally trade you places girl if I could. Today is my due date and my daughter refuses to come out but she's putting me in so much pain. My lower back hurts like no other, it's just I'm not dilated at all. I'm 90% effaced and she's flipped upside down like she's suppose to be and has been for over 3 weeks now but no dilation what so ever.
