cervix

Ok so I had my smear (pap)  test yesterday, and am currently ttc - af is due 8/9 may. When she was doing it she said that she struggled initially to find my cervix, I ended up really having to tilt myself so she could get a sample.  I thought when af is due the 'canal' becomes shorter? Or am I wrong? Could this be a sign I'm pregnant? I have never had that before and I've had plenty of these tests as I have had grade 1, 2 and 3 pre cancerous cells, have had a biopsy a couple of years ago and now have a flat cervix.  Would I be able to hold a pregnancy with a flat cervix? Sorry its so many questions just wanted to know...
