i was sooooo worried if my baby was alive etc etc and couldnt wait til my scan which is till dont know when it is so i rented one of those dopplers, im 12 weeks tomorrow so didnt entirely think it would work...it took us a while to find it and sure enough it popped up on the screen at 147 bpm!! i was so reassured and excited! now im not saying this'll work for everyone depends on the person and where the baby is he/she was sat on the right side just above my pubic hair line and no it wasnt mine lol we determined which was mine before hand haha

anyways just wondered if anyone else has used one?

My midwife uses them every time I go in for an appt, she first found the heartbeat with it at 10 weeks. I wanted to buy one, you can get one on eBay for like 80 bucks but after we had an ultrasound at 12 weeks, we found out the poor little guy doesn't like the Doppler noise, he covered his ears their the ultrasound. So my hubby said no because he doesn't want to torture his boy! Lol
