This is mostly to vent but also advice.
Sooo I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and the day I found out and told my boyfriend he left me. Well recently he wanted to come back and I told him no and he got really angry and said he was taking me to court once the baby got here. At first he didnt even want the baby, and now all of a sudden he wants to be a part of its lofe. I mean i get hes the dad but he left when he foind out. Is there any chance at all I would lose my child?

Me and my BF are inna good relationship tho we dont plan on leaving eachother and prob will never have tp use the plan but we arent married so i did find it to be a better idea. Wjen u divorce on florida woth children u are required to do one anyways

I went to the courthouse and asked for a parental plan packet and i paid 6 bucks and they gave it to me. U will have to ask them how u file in each state and county

I can promise you like everyone else said they will not take your baby from you unless you are found an unfit parent. Honestly even then courts still work with the mom. He can take you for joint or partial custody but even then that's a fight. Now if there really is something wrong with what goes on in his mother's house where he lives you need to document that for court also. And you don't do anything until he takes you for court. You automatically get 100% custody. If he wants any he will have to fight for it. Do not take him to court and open the door for him.

How do you write one up on your own and make it like official? I'm nervous because he lives with his mom and I don't approve of his moms parenting at all to his younger siblings. But at the same time I grew up without a father and I know what its like. I'm just torn.

My� bf and i are expecting our daughter in 2 weeks. Because i didntbunt to deal with the mind games etc that comes along with the child support and custody battles. Such as one parent keeping the child from the other. We set out a parental agreement now. I decided not to wait till it was too late lol. Ofcourse this cant be filed with the courts till after she is born but maybe an idea

I'm not gonna keep him from the baby but he's trying to take the baby from me. And yeah he was scared and he left I was scared and I didn't get to leave. I did the right thing and told my mom so I could go to the doctor and take of the baby he didn't even want. I honestly don't think he wants the baby I think its his mom telling him to be in its life. Cause he didn't want to until he told her. I'm prepared to do this on my own.

In New Mexico it is joint custody if the father is on the birth certificate and if your going for child support a paternity test is also taken but he can not just take the baby away from you he can fight for father's rights that's about it

And its also said a mother becomes a mom once she pees on the stick and a father becomes a dad once he holds his baby

I believe it is the same way in Louisiana. Also, if he genuinely wants to be part of the baby's life, I personally would let him but let him know that him threatening you wasn't necessary. Who knows, he may have left cause he was scared...

You wont lose your baby trust me. Moms are usually granted the main custody over the father. He's a jerk but sadly he is the father and he has rights and its not fair to you at all that he left and now wants to come back but it's the consequences of creating a baby . Some guys become men and some stay young and selfish.

i think that you should try and give him a chance to be in the babie's life. even if he left in the beginning, at least he wants to be there
now. some guys just freak out at the thought of becoming a dad and that's probably what he did. but, if not and he does take you to court, as long as you are able to support your kid and live in a good home environment i don't see why they.would give him full custody. at the most he would probably get weekend visitation.

And yes you can pick who you want in the hospital room with you and who you want there ... I know in fla say if you get a new bf and he wants too be a part of the child's life and signs the BC he is the father , no matter what ... even if he isn't his bblood father

What state are you in? I know in florida no matter what the mom get custody unless proven to be unfit and also in fla if the father isn't on the BC he has no rights
