coed baby shower??

My sister is planning my shower and keeps asking me to get a guest list so we can start searching venues. I wanted to do a coed non traditional baby shower. Not your typical brunch, tea, and classic games. I kinda wanted it to be more of a celebration. We were thinking candy land themed and alcoholic drinks for those of age (kinda like the bar at wedding receptions). Making this more of a social event rather than a 2-3 hour perfectly scheduled event. My baby's father wants to be apart of it and he wants his friends there as well, but Idk how much fun the boys would be having if we played the fu fu baby shower games and sipped on tea lol. My boyfriend even suggested having it kinda like a BBQ the only problem I have with that is I wanted it to be at a hall and still a little fancy lol. Let me know what you guys think or have done in previous showers to accommodate adding the boys to the mix. Thanks in advance :)

Yes both my showers were co ed. I have a big male dominated family. Just have a little bit of both. My 1st shower we did have a couple fu fu games, but also some stuff that involved the men. My 2nd we didn't play any games. It was a gender reveal shower. We ate listened to music.
