Can the doctor change my due date?

tomorrow i have an ultrasound...its supposed to be a growth ultrasound. tmrw ill be 32wks 4 days. If my baby is measuring at 35-36weeks, would the doctor change my due date? or does that just mean my baby is big? all my friends who are pregnant keep getting like 23894792874 different due dates every time they go to the doctor.....lol. so im just wondering whats going on.

The due date shouldn't be changed even if you're measuring ahead or behind.. If you had an u/s early on in the pregnancy than the due date you were givin is correct.. Later on in pregnancies babies all grow at different rates, that is why most docs do an u/s early in the pregnancy to determine gestational age.,

My doctor won't change anything unless she's measuring consistently ahead for 2-3 ultrasounds.

My understanding they won't change it that far along and usually don't add days. My doc said they won't change it after about 20 weeks
