Should I feel braxton hicks by now?

I'm 31wks nd haven't felt any, what would this mean? Would labor be more difficult if my uterus isn't practicing contracting by now? Is it still too early? Some say I might not even feel them, would they get stronger the further along I get? I jus really don't want to go past 40wks!

I'm a ftm and I'm 31 weeks 5 days I think I've gotten a few ... Not everyday just maybe a few a week.. some were painful like period cramps but I'm not sure of everything or what I'm suppose to be feeling ... It's weird being pregnant for the first time and trying to understand something that you have no idea what it is or suppose to feel like.. I know one thing I'm so ready to have my little girl in my arms!

I didn't feel any in my first pregnancy and he came 5 days early. It was the easiest out of the 3 deliveries I've had so far so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You may just not be noticing them or you could start getting them in a few weeks.
