ugh.....need to vent

Who brings sick kids over for an uninvited play date when the Mom is 35 weeks pregnant with twins?! My brother in law came over to help fix our car, which I am very grateful for. However he brought his two sick kids with him for me to watch while he works on the car......I have two kids already and really didn't want company. Been having contractions all day and in pain. Last thing I want is to watch your kids. Let alone get mine sick!!!!! I have no energy today and now they are complaining about being hungry. What am I supposed to feed them?! I am so frustrated....

I know how you feel. I have a family member who used to come over all the time when my daughter was younger and her kids were always sick. What made it worse was her kids would always put my daughter's toys in their mouth ugh and she would just sit there and watch them do it like wtf?!

I'm taking vitamin c to help my iron digest so hopefully that'll keep me from getting sick.

You will be shocked and amazed as time goes on as to how many people do this.  I had a mom bring her son over one time and he's sitting there with my son and he' coughing up a storm and she says . . .  there is a boy with whooping cough at church. Sure hope my son doesn't have it.  I scooped up my son and told her she had to leave.  She was kind of miffed but I'm lke, really?  This is one of my major pet peeve. Wait until school and moms who work especially send their kids in sick because they don't want to keep them home.  While I understand the predicament . . .   it is just not fair to everyone else.  No wonder preschool can be a cesspool!!

anyway, I have taken to paying attention when talking to someone.  I ask how everyone is.  And when I get a clean bill of health from our chit chat . . .  I say "do you want to get together?  Ha, and if they mention anyone is sick at all, I don't suggest a get together.  I'm like a super sleuth trying to keep sickies away from us.

You gotta do what you gotta do but there are so many people who don't think twice about bringing sick kids around.

One of my sons has bad allergies and can have a runny nose . . .   and I am quick to always announce ---  JUST ALLERGIES He's not sick!!!!!  I don't want anyone thinking I do that.  LOL

People have no boundaries about stuff. If your kids are sick keep them home till they get better. I would not watch someone's sick children.

Yeah I wouldn't find it nice that he brought them over sick. I'd be annoyed also. Just sick them down with a movie on and like chips to snack on and tell them its time to relax haha :) good luck. Congrats on the twins!!

Tell their dad they are ready to go home for dinner, I'd be Pis sed and would have made them stay outside with them.
