My son was the same way. At night I would just lay on my side latch him on and pass out for a while:P wake up and swap, put him back to bed and get another hour of sleep.
Forgot my first was like that if he wastnt eating he was crying it seemed I then would lay him in my boot pillow that I used for breast feeding an he loved it it was like he was being held. You could maybe try that. I really feel for you it can really make a mama crazy
Babies that are breastfeed maynot get their tummies as full for multiple reasons. One being that they fall back to sleep because of the warmth of your body.
Sorry hope it gets better soon for you
@ericatoday did you put him on a schedule yourself or did he do it himself? is he breastfed? how many times a day does he eat? im so sorry for all the questions but I'm just curious!
plus she barely let's me do other things because she always needs to held or shell cry and wake up again. I'm so lost and I feel like I'm failing as a parent for some reason :(
My son is 2 1/2 months old and now he sleeps at night for around 4-5 hours which is nice. Just remember it gets easier.
@whitejasminerose3 do you give both breasts? I'm unsure if its because she is only feeding one breast at a time. do you think she's getting enough?? I'm so concerned and tired its frustrating. all I keep telling myself is that shes only going to get older day by day and before I know it shell be sleeping for longer periods of time since shell eat more at once
It will last a few days to a week. Don't worry they pass pretty quickly.
@kylahblue she's breastfed! and I used to pump but I developed a breast infection so my Dr told me to strictly breastfeed and not to bottle feed.
My newborn is 2 weeks old and does the same thing she's breastfed and doesn't go longer than 2 hours. Hang in there ;/ I'm in the same boat..lol
Instead if giving a bottle right away try giving baby a pacifier to stretch the time in between. How much is she drinking every hour cause that seems like alot. Are you breast feeding? Do you have help? If you have a pump try an pump a couple bottles an let your partner or whoever feed while you sleep maybe you could get 4 hrs instead of 2. I sometimes go to bed at like 8 an let my husband do the 10-11 o'clock feeding so I can get a good stretch of sleep it helps alot I wake up at like 1-2 an feel like a new women. It's all about a schedule as much as you can!!!
