Hi:-) Since you are 9 days late and still have a negative result on HPT. I'd suggest a Beta Blood test.  Your HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels may not be that high. A majority of women will have HCG in their blood around 11 or 12 days after conception. It then begins to increase rapidly and doubles every couple of days. When the HCG hormone level is strong enough in the woman’s body then a home pregnancy test will pick it up and a positive test will result. Good luck!!

see delayed periods can be due to a no of reasons the last one being pregnancy.. some of the reasons are stress, illness, change in lifestyle, overweight, underweight etc.. symptoms are never a conformation of pregnancy rather misleading.. only a test can confirm that.. if u suspect that u are pregnant or there are chances of u being pregnant u should go for another test now.. if still not assured go for a blood test.. that confirms it.. good luck...
