why does it seem like my mother in law is jealous?

I am 22 weeks ftm and my bf's mom seems to be jealous now that I'm pregnant, like i would expect ger to be happy since its her first grand child and another thing is that she only has my bf and his sister who doesnt plan to have children because shes a lesbian so i would think she would be over joyed and super supportive of my pregnancy! Before i got pregnant we were close i mean we had a good relationship and have been with her son since i was 17 I'm now 23 and now we're having our first child....i just wonder if theres other mothrr in laws acting the same with other pregnant women here??

Mine is. She likes to be in control over everything and she doesn't like that my bf is taking up his time with me instead of doing everything for her

When I fell preg with my son who is now 3 and a half my mil was a cow she didn't want anyone to know about me been preg now I was 3 month preg and showing with my son and she didn't want any of his family to no so when he had scans in the house she hid them till family had gone got me soo mad but finally my now hubby blurted it out coz he was fed up of waiting to say then as the rest of the family was happy about it they came round abit to the idea but untill he was a few month old they then came round the the fact things wasn't going to change and now we are in our own home happy married and got our daughter on the way

When me and my bf got together his mom HATED me and done everything she could to try to change his mind. Now that I'm pregnant she doesn't say anything out of the way to me but I over heard her talking on the phone saying how he made the wrong choice with this girl. She even went as far as deleting us off her bf because we cause drama...not. lol

My first child with my husband my mother in law was the same way!! She even started calling me names and we stopped taking for the longest time!!! she told me that she felt like she was losing her son! her son didn't need her as much as he needed me! our daughter is 9 now and we get along just fine.. we are actually really really close! good luck I hope things get better :-)

I don't have issues with my mother in law but I do have issues with my sister in law. She has been putting stuff in my nieces head and now my niece isn't happy with my pregnancy. I just say to hell with it and be happy.
