Slightly Ecogenic Bowel in u/s Report

Hi,

My Wife is 16 Weeks Preganant. We just finished our scheduled u/s scan. The results of the scan showed that the baby has ''Slightly Ecogenic Bowels'' & '' Minimum Fullness in Fetal both kidneys''. Doc has suggested us the triple test and anything cannot be concluded at this stage. We both are worried about it much. Can any expert throw a light on this issue and help us?

Im sorry but do you have a medical degree?? Or maybe treated his wife??? Or maybe you speak from experiance??? Overall God will give or take but to say his wife might lose the baby and the doctor doesnt want to tell them implies that you KNOW that. Sorry im not trying to be rude but maybe you should clarify.

your wife might lose the baby and the doc don't want to tell you but all you have to do is hope and pray to god.

Im not sure about the fullness in the kidneys but my 20 week u/s showed ecogentic bowel. I was stressed untill I gave birth. My quad test came back at a higher risk. Cant remember the exact numbers. I was given the option to have and amnio and also to abort. I turned down the amnio due to the risks but kinda wish I would have had it for piece of mind. I had her in my 37th week and she is perfectly healthy 10 month old today. My ecogenic bowel was very dark but gradually got lighter closer to delivery. Mine was a false alarm.
I would get the blood test done and maybe the amnio and go from threre. And speak to a genetic councelor. They have all the number and statistics.
Good luck, I hope its a false alarm:~)
