Is there a way you can tell if your dilating before the doctor checks you?
If you wash your hands well prior, there is a diy way to check your cerix and see how dialated you are. I did it with my second and it was accurate. Just google it. I would be bad at explaining. :)
I have been having contractions so I guess I am. I go to the doctors Wednesday but I don't think she will be checking me yet
If you've been having pretty strong BH contractions close to your due date it could be that the contractions are stronger being that you're actually dilating.
