Cramping or round ligament cramps? 7 weeks.

Hello all. I have yet another pregnancy question lol. I am just about 7 weeks now and have been spotting on and off this whole pregnancy its very unsettling and worries me a lot. My levels were steady going up and from the u/s a week and a half ago everything was looking good. Well... Now i am experiencing cramps on the right side of my stomach it feels like a tiny pull then cramps. I did spot a lil last night (light pink blood) only when i wiped and it went away. I am scared that i'm heading towards a miscarriage and this cramping does not help. I have another doc appt wed and waiting on a callback from the doctor i just need to hear from anyone else who maybe went through this.

You need to go to the ER just in case....I had spotting at 7wks and it turned out to be blood from a burst cyst...but I had bad stomach pains and spotting again at 12.5 weeks and it turned out that I had a bad pelvic infection and needed treatment. Luckily I caught it early because I went to the ER and the treatment has been successful, but you need to be seen just in case. As you know if it's m/c there's nothing they can do, but if it's not then there's a good chance they can help you and you need to be seen. Just to clarify, the pains I had were on the left side of my stomach near my pelvic/hip bone, they were sharp, they came and went, and they were intense. The spotting I had was bright red too, although it wasn't a lot. Good luck sweetie I hope it's nothing....let us know.

Where are the cramps? are they in the middle of your stomach or closer to hip bone? I am 6 wks and I got cramps with my 2 boys and with this one. They are closer to my hip bone on the right side and I've discovered that the cause is constipation!! The cramping is never really a problem just scary but then after a bm I'm fine. I know it's not a nice subject to talk about but I just thought I'd give you advise from my own experience. The spotting I'm not really sure about. I've heard that some woman spot throughout their whole preg. Since the spotting is only there when you wipe it could be from an exam or from sex. I've heard anything that irrates the cervix can cause some spotting. I'd still mention it to your dr though just be safe! I hope all goes well and good luck!! keep us posted!!

Hi

i had m/c in jan 08 and i did not spot at all before the m/c started i just woke up in really bad pain like period pains but 10 x worse and blood was just pouring out and i was only 5 weeks.  I know that my situation will not be the same as everyones but i have read alogt about spotting and cramps being very normal in early pregnacy due to things streching and getting ready for the pregnacy, however if your pains get worse or the bleeding or just if you are that worried just go to the hospital x i really hope that everything is ok, ( oh i know that i am only 4 weeks and you are 7 but if it means anthing i have had cramps to the last 3 days and so far everything seems to be ok x

It is normal to get cramps in early pregnancy, it's also possible to spot some and things be perfectly normal.  I've never experienced it personally but have read many posts from people who have.
