I hope your scan goes well to. I think about u and Cassius all the time because you are going through the same thing i was and i know how upsetting and stressful it can be. I just hope your outcome is as good as mine and they wait until atleast 38weeks, and hopefully you can go natural and not by induction. Stay strong and let me know how the scan goes. My Cass was not showing much improvemnet at each scan so they were really pushing for induction i hope yours shows some improvement so he has some time for his lungs to develop and maybe gain a little more weight. I'd hate for him to be in nicu but like they kept telling me he might be better out then in if he is not gaining. But i hope thats not the case Good Luck Ma

I'm 27+5 and unfortunately wss told Monday baby already dropped... I'll tell you I walk a lot. I do laps around stores lol. My doctor decided to check me due to pains while sitting up. I dance around a lot and walk tons. I asked my doctor about primrose oil as I've heard a bunch. Not to try but to be educated and he laughed saying it works when your body has started on its own. Idk tho. Up the activity you do. My feet swell up so bad hubby bought me 4 pairs of moccasins haha.

Hi! I am 37 wks and thought i dropped a while ago, she has been very low, and its been very painful. I thought she was dropped a long time ago, then about 2 days ago, my heartburn eased up a TON, and there is a clear difference in my belly! And even though i hurt before, i REALLY hurt now!! U will know it when they drop :-) and with my son, i had sex and contractions started immediately, i had him 2 hours later. Thay morning when i saw my doc, i wasnt even dialated. It was crazy, he was my first. With my daughter, my second, i tried the walking, stairs, primrose, membrane sweep, EVERYTHING, and i was dialted 2 cm for at least 8 weeks. Nothing worked for her. This baby, im 37 weeks, 3 cm dialated, 90% effaced, she dropped about 2 days ago. Sorry for the long story, but i dont know if all that stuff really works, or if its just luck? I was convinced it worked but then it didnt work with my second...so i donno? Alls i know, is i would wait till ur at least 37 weeks, i know its hard, i am really getting anxiouse and want to be done! But its really not always good fir the baby :-) stay strong! Ur getting closer!!

He probably has dropped if doc says his head is right there. And i am not sure how far you have to be dialated to have one the day my doc did it he din say how far i was i did not even know i was having it done till he went up there and it was very uncomfotable for about 1min and after i left i had a lil blood and some irregular contractions the next day i walked had a lil more blood and then 1am i started having regualr contractions.

My daughter dripped on her own at 36 Weeks and was born 5 days later. They checked her through the ultrasound and was able to tell that way. I did alot of walking too

Yu have to be dialated for a membrane sweep right? Is an elliptical equivalent to walking? Lol im in the same position yu were its not that I wanna force him out but I wanna try everything in my power to get things goin naturally

Ive read iugr babies are especially at risk for csections during inductions and I really dont want my first pregnancy to end in csection

I'm sure they can tell a difference while doing fundal height and checking baby's position from the outside if he's lower, but a pelvic exam is really best (which I'm sure they'll start on you, soon) For me I knew I dropped  because I got less heartburn, terrible pressure and discomfort down there, more peeing, and being able to eat more.

Ask your doctors to do a membrane sweep this helped me go in to labor. I also was going to have to be induced ddue to my baby measuring small but i was so aginst it even though i really did not have an option but i also did not want to force my body or baby to do something it was not ready for. And i had heard so many horror stories on induction. But after a membrane sweep i walked a mile and had sex and prayed lol that did the trick. Try walking alot even going up and down stairs will help too. Also i did tons of house work too. As far as being able to tell if baby dropped i am not sure i was able to tell by taking pics of my belly one week and then the next and noticed a difference.

I Have the same feelings as you.. I did reseach on Induction and like a high percentage of them result in c- section. If you watch the business of being born, it explains it all. I dont have anything to suggest as I am a ftm and only 14 weeks, just wanted to give you support and wish you luck! :)

I would also ask your doctor about primrose oil, since they're planning on you going early anyway, and asking them when you should start it. A normal, 40 week pregnancy I've heard you start 36 weeks, for you, 38 week pregnancy, they might have you start at 34-35? I would ask your doctor about it!

Im just worried it will stress my son because of everything goin on so I want to try to progress things naturally... I just want to at least be dialated so if I do have to be induced it goes smoother

Babies (first pregnancies) usually drop between 36-38 weeks, Try squats, bouncing on a ball, stuff like that to drop farther, good luck!
