I've got 3 dogs, a 140 lb great dane, 125lb rottweiler & an 80 pound lab. My rottie jumps when he's excited I've been putting my knee up when he jumps it gets him in the chest and hurts. I also tell him no, as for the dane I've found that taking her to the local a Rec and letting her run in the ball field helps a lot with her energy!

We took our pitt who has so much energy to classes at pet Co and it was awesome! ! They trained him so fast and he is soo much better! It was only like 110 bucks for 6 weeks of class!

I have three dogs 2 are 45lbs the other 55lbs. They are aged 5, 3 and 2. All still have lots of energy but all are trained to know not to jump on me. We even got our pit at the beginning of my pregnancy and managed to teach him within 3 weeks. I dont understand why people act like they can't have pets and kids/be pregnant.

Try maybe a new toy that you only let them have while you're home and give it to them when they start to jump right when you get home and maybe they'll get distracted and will not jump on you.

I have a pit mix and he's bigger than normal pits. He loves to jump but one he realized I was pregnant the jumping stop. Some dogs just know better.

I have a pit also a girl she's 3.
She doesn't jump on me anymore.
The bigger I got I stopped letting her do that.
I give her attention and a treat when I get home that way she's still excited to see me but entertains her self with her treat for 30seconds and that calms her a bit.
I don't plan on getting rid of her either :)
My bf and I have been trying different things to get her comfortable when they baby comes.
We play a video of a newborn baby crying a few times a week so the sound won't be new to her.
Also we let her smell all the baby clothes and blankets and toys.
And the more things we get for the baby we get some toys or treats for her that way we don't tell her "no, don't eat that" to everything.

Also my Doc told us to bring home the babys 1st hospital onesie after babys born and let her smell it before we bring baby home.
My dog ia used to getting attention so we've tries to make this easier on her too :)

Just train them not to jump. We have two cats and a dog. Our dog jumps but he is a miniature dachshund and has learned not to jump on me

There shouldnt be any need to get rid of them. Enforce no jumping. Take them to classes. Work with them instead of just giving them away like so many people do. I refuse to get rid of my cats just because im pregnant.
