I used dreft only as newborn for his cloth only, then by 2months i changed to the regular soup i would use for my cloth but not with a strong smell.
I just had this conversation in a baby care class led by a nurse at my delivery hospital. She says there's no real difference between dreft and most sensitive-skin, dye-free and fragrance-free detergents. The "all" brand is a good example of one you can use, but she said you should definitely use it while they're young babies since their skin is more sensitive.
every baby is different so their skin is different too. i washed all of my daughters things in dye free hypoallergenic soap until she was about 6 months then switched to our regular detergent. u dont need to buy the special baby stuff at babies r us. that stuffs expensive. just make sure its dye and perfume free.
So should I wash all her bedding too?
i would recommend it, u dont know what other things it has touched before u bought it
I didn't buy anything special. We had been using "All" without dyes so there was no need.
