should i be nervous??

My due date is the 27th of this month! And I haven't been nervous this while time but now I'm getting nervous that I'm not worried about it...I guess I'm just wondering is it really as awful as women make it sound? I understand it hurts and its no walk in the park but do you really bleed as much as I've been hearing because that's all that really scares me...and im getting scared my boyfriend will be disgusted by me:( I know they are very significant concerns in comparison to most I just needed a little reassurance thanks!

Just want to let you know that, while everyone is different, it is not uncommon to bleed for 3-4 weeks after delivery. I bled for 4 weeks and my doctor explained it as my body trying to reset after the trauma of pregnancy. Honestly though, after you have your baby in your arms, you really don't care about any of that. Good luck on your labor and delivery!!! And welcome to mommyhood!!! ;)

You know, I didnt feel nervous for labor my whole pregnancy.. I kept telling myself I would start to freak out once it got close. But I never got nervous.. It just didnt concern me at all...

Everyones experience is different.  I didnt find labor that bad...  My contractions didnt really get bad until I was 8 CM dilated... The nurses were amazed, they kept sayign we cant really gage what your are feeling because you dont even make faces when you have contractions...  Labor was exhausting that is for sure.. and they dont let you eat in case you need a c section so you start to get really sick from starving.. I was admitted to the hospital at 8pm at 6 cm dilated and didnt give birth until 10am soooo its a long time.. . i didnt get to eat until 4pm either lol...

I got an epidural at 4 30am because I was so tired, I wanted to rest.. it was amazing.. after i got that, i didnt feel anything.. i got this pressure feeling in my butt when it was time to push.. and I had to push for 2 hrs and 30 minutes.. which is ridiculous.. My epidural was running off a bit by the end so pushing will definitely hurt if you go all natural...

but Labor is such an amazing experience and not feeling nervous is perfectly normal.  I know my friend wasnt nervous when she had her baby and at the time (i wasnt pregnant or planning), I was like iw ould be freaking out.... But I never did !

good luck

Don't be too worried about it, it def hurts and your in pain but as soon as you hold your beautiful baby nothing else matters anymore. Relax your getting the most precious gift at the end of the month.

Like I said my doc was an idiot who didn't care and my delivery went very very bad and my daughter ended up in NICU on oxygen so no she was rushed out of the room but my husband showed me a pic and I got to hold her the next day in the NICU. But I did get to hold my second in the recovery room and the delivery went great I was holding and nursing her within 30 minutes. I go back May 4th for our third and after my second delivery I'm not even nervous so if you did have to get a c-section don't be scared it's not bad.

I have a feeling mine would act how yours did because he always does what he can to help id just rather not have him know about the weird bodily functions of mine haha, I'm also for some reason kinda of nervous about having an emergency c section...I don't know why I'd have to but I'm scared I won't get to see him right away. Did you get to see your baby right away after your c section?

Well I've given birth twice now but it was by c-section and my first was a rough delivery but that was my doctors fault and my husband and I were in our first year of marriage and he had to pull down my underware for me to use the bathroom and change my pads( i couldn't bend) and I was horrified but he took it in stride and if anything now I feel I could show and tell him anything, it made us closer. But my delivery wasn't normal so please don't be scared by that and my second delivery was a very pleasant experience.

This whole time I've just been to excited to be nervous and all the people saying "youll probably go past your due date anyways" are not helping. I went into preterm labor twice so i was hoping he'd come at least on my due date I'm so ready to meet him!! I'm sure you are too:) good luck and thanks for your input:)
