twins? how far along do u have to be?

So twins run on both sides of the family and my fiance has had a set of twins with an ex already. Im 8 weeks +2 with #3 and get an ultrasound in a few weeks. My question is how far along do u have to be for then to see if its twins?

It only matters if twins run on the womans side of the family not the mans the mans sperm is actually what determines if its a boynor a girl

I found out i was having twins at 6weeks. They can normally tell you in the first 12weeks.

Yeah I was told its around the time they see the gender.. but idk I dont wanna be suprised

I'm assuming the same amount of time it takes to see one but my stepsister found out she was having twins doing her 6 month check up. I would be so sad lol

They can see when you do your first ultrasound. My family and my boyfriends family have twins so that was one of our big questions with both pregnancies and they told us no at our first ultrasound both times (baby one 7w and baby two 12w)
